What is a Blog?

The term blog is short for weblog and it is a diary that I can share with you about my day to day life as a small animal UK vet and mother of 4 children. Life is never boring!.

As you will see, I have called my blog Itchy and Scratchy. Being a vet, this seems to be one of the main conditions we see in pets due to fleas, but as I am writing this blog at home with my own dog Slick at my feet; she is constantly scratching as she suffers with a house dust mite allergy. She is undergoing costly desensitisation for it and the main way I can help her is to hoover regularly but I'd rather be writing to you!
